Free Customer Service Training Course Offered by BLR October 5, 2009
BLR is recognizing Customer Service Week by offering a free customer service training course.
An official observance authorized by Congress in 1992, Customer Service Week takes place the first week of October, which is October 5 through October 9 this year. During the weeklong event, organizations highlight the importance of customer service and honor customer service workers. Many organizations recognize top customer service professionals duirng the week as well.
The free training presentation is called Customer Service Skills: How We Can All Improve. Every organization and department has customers, whether they are internal (supervisors, other employees, and other departments) or external (businesses and individuals who use the organization’s products and services), so every employee can benefit from the training.
The web-based training is available to everyone and includes a PowerPoint presentation with audio. The duration of the training course is about 23 minutes.
The presentation is one of 21 courses that will be part of a Customer Service Library on the Employee Training Center, an award-winning, web-based training program. The Customer Service Library will be available later this fall.
BLR is launching the 21-course library to help organizations face increasing economic and competitive pressures. Organizations can use the presentations to increase customer loyalty and satisfaction.
