OSHA Compliance ManualNew OSHA Field Operations Manual: A valuable resource for employers OSHA recently issued a new Field Operations Manual to not only guide compliance officers in conducting inspections, issuing citations, and proposing penalties, but also provide employers with a consolidated reference on how OSHA expects workplaces to be safe and healthful.

The manual, which was formerly called the Field Inspection Reference Manual, contains information that addresses how inspections should be scheduled and conducted, how regulations must be enforced, and ways to encourage continual improvement in workplace safety and health.
