New OSHA Requirement for Bilingual Training July 29, 2010
Recently OSHA sent an enforcement memo to their regional administrators reminding them that employers must provide all OSHA required training to their employees in “a manner that each employee can understand”. The memo made it clear that compliance officers are to verify that an employer is instructing its employees using both a language and vocabulary that the employees can comprehend. The memo’s main purpose was to make sure that Latino and other non-English speaking workers (who represent an essential part of many key industries) receive effective training.

The testing materials included in each program are also in Spanish and will clearly document the fact that the training was provided and understood by the employee. Our employee booklets and posters are available in Spanish as well.
