Asbestos is a naturally formed mineral fiber that is tough, heat, and electricity resistant. It is an incombustible material once used in the construction of buildings, homes, and appliances. It was widely used in construction products due to its heat resistance, poor conductive ability, sound absorption capability and high tensile strength.
