When it Fire Prevention Week?

Asked by one of our subscribers recently- the answer, Every week should be fire prevention however the official date(s) is the second week of October. (7th thru the 13th in 08′)
October is Fire Prevention Month in general

Across the country, fire departments will be focusing on educating the public and reinforcing the importance of fire safety. Each year many lives are lost to fires. In almost all instances these losses could have been avoided had precaution been taken.

Fire Prevention Month is the time set aside to bring fire prevention and awareness to the forefront and get everyone involved and trained. In most facilities there are many items that get overlooked which are potential fire hazards.
