Forklift Training

According to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) forklift related accidents and deaths are on the rise. The study shows that there are 95,000 accidents involving forklifts and power industrial vehicles reported annually, 2/3 of the cases reported resulted in death. The three leading circumstances that resulted in the deaths were: Forklift overturns, pedestrians struck, and workers crushed. OSHA regulations state that all persons in operation of a forklift or any other industrial vehicle must complete a “Certification training “program and refresh training annually.
