Surface Miner

Miner safety training is required  for all surface miners or mining contractors by the Mine Safety and Health Administration. Surface Miner Training raises hazard awareness and lays the groundwork for good judgment, keeping miners uninjured and on the job. The federal government's Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) requires mandatory training of surface miners and mining contractors. Compliance and Safety offers twenty-seven-module Surface Miner Training curriculum (over 8 hours) is designed to help facilities and miners meet MSHA training requirements. Our curriculum can help provide the following training mandated under Title 30 CFR Part 46: New Miner Training (CFR 30 Part 46.5), Newly Hired Experienced Miner Training (CFR 30 Part 46.6), New Task Training (CFR 30 Part 46.7), Annual Refresher Training (CFR 30 Part 46.8), and more.
