Workplace harassment is when a person or group is subjected to undesirable behavior, which is repeated and or unwelcomed. This behavior is considered to be offensive, intimidating, humiliating, and/or threatening language or action to a reasonable person. Harassment can occur from any levels of employment, as well as from or to a customer. Workplace harassment covers a wide range of behaviors ranging from subtle intimidation to more obvious aggressive tactics. According to the US Equal Employment Opportunity Commission there is more than 35,000 Workplace harassment cases filed each year, which cost companies over 50 million dollars annually.
